This course designed by L. H. Koontz and Ricardo Mckinlay has a marked contrast among the first 9 holes (Koontz) and the second 9 ones. The first and original 9 are near the ocean, while the second 9 are flatter but with some of artificial movement of land. The place has a lot of vegetation, mainly maritime pines. It has greens of various sizes, of maritime agrostis and with automatic irrigation. Its fairways are narrow for which to locate the ball in the fairway is the main challenge for the golfer. It is a short but challenging layout, its fast and moved greens demand great precision in order make a good score.
