Born in 1888, when a group of Englishmen tried to reproduce in B.A. the magnificent and traditional sport clubs of their home country H. Is the only club from that time that preserves the original layout of the course. The fairways have natural strong grasses supporting all sorts of weather. The whole round has a beautiful and assorted variety of hundred years trees. Its apparent innocence is deceptive mainly in the short holes well defended by strategically placed bunkers and its narrow entrances to the greens. The surface of the greens is small and the breaks are difficult to read.

The course has played host to: Argentine open (5 times), Professional open, argentine amateur championship, and Stroke Play Amateur championship.
