And in the last years, with 3 Major victories more golfers around the world got interested in our golf. Due to this, the amount of golfers in Argentina is continuously growing.

Today almost 100.000 fans play golf in the country, in more than 250 courses along the territory. Among those courses we can find the old ones designed by Allister Mackenzie or Mungo Park and the modern ones, created by new renowned designers like Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. And we have more than 15 first class courses under construction from designers like Gary Player, Mark Adams, Randy Thompson, Norman and Nicklaus.

From Ushuaia to Jujuy, Argentina has golf courses in all its extension, with the most varied landscapes, from mountains and lakes to hills or the plain of the humid prairie.

Natural conditions in Argentina are very attractive for golf because the climate allows to play along the 12 months of the year, even in the rainy and cold season the clubs keep their courses open to play.

And to complement the varied golf offer, Argentina is open to tourism due to its very varied offer for services, history, art, spectacles and gastronomy.

And the golf tradition is supported in the relevance of the Argentine Open, the 7th oldest championship in the world, having completed 100 years in 2005. At present Argentina hosts the following Tournaments that are part of the European Challenge Tour: Argentine Open (Buenos Aires), Central Open (Cordoba) and Litoral Open (Rosario).
